Rare Gold-filled Sweetheart Expansion Bracelet

Circa 1940s, 50s

Condition - light scratching,  vintage wear  on the surface of the heart.  Overall very light vintage wear

A majority of these jewelry pieces were produced in the 1930s & Forties. Gold Filled ( Not plated ) , they were given to a sweetheart by an American Soldier preparing to be away on duties.
They were often engraved with names or initials , & some had a Locket on the front where a picture could be enclosed as a Romantic war-time memento.
